I'll be honest, I have never worn these shoes. I've had them for 4 years and they don't quite fit. Or so I thought, so I never put them on... Until this evening for their moment of glory and magically they fit! Score! Inexplicable shoemagic...or perhaps moon magic (the moon is glorious tonight).

I usually don't take or post my daily picture before 5pm but this morning while looking for a sweater I swear I have, I opened a drawer in my closest and GASP! I found a drawer of shoes that I didn't know were there. SCORE!

37/365: Parlez-Vous Chaussures

I hope that title says something about shoes and not food, or trees, or nature. I only actually took one term of French. However, I did always cherish this Berlitz French book that my grandmother had. Today, she gave it to me as a gift. I felt it should be showcased along with my shoes today, as I have loved it for such a long time, and because there is a page where shoes play an important role. The book is from 1959. The quality of the photo is poor, the color is all wrong.

Shoes: Target flats.

The thing that I love about the shoes I wore today? The bottoms! They remind me of octopus tentacles. They function a little like a bundle of tiny suction cups.

You've seen the backdrop before. It's my shower curtain and bathroom rug. You've seen zebra shoes before, here, and here, but you haven't seen this pair. I actually have 5 pairs of zebra shoes (in 4 different styles: sequin, shiny(I have 2 identical pairs), furry, and felt with red piping). Come to think of it...I have a zebra shower curtain AND a zebra foot stool. holy cow, why all the zebra?!
