You've already seen these shoes...they're in my blog header. But they haven't had a day or a post yet! My ruby red Dorothy (movie version, for book version see here) slippers, up close and personal! Love these shoes. Love wearing them.
I love the composition of this! Nice colors too. I would like to read the Wizard of Oz book but do you think it's too scary for my kids (3&5)? Actually, they kinda like scary things.
If they like scary things, they will probably enjoy it. It isnt super frightening. The witch is scary (no scarier than the movie). They might have more trouble following the whole thing, but if you're reading it to them, you'll be there to explain and it would be fine. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is actually the first book or many in the Oz series. I haven't read them since I was a kid. They were ok for me to read on my own by 4th grade.
